1. inquire about your date
Inquire about your date and venue first to make sure we are available for your day. While it’s obviously not a necessity, we suggest inquiring and booking 9-15 months before the big day so that we can help with all the little things before the big day like helping you on your timeline.
2. set up a meeting
I want to learn all about you, your love, the things that make you tick. Every couple is completely different, so every wedding day is completely different, so I want to know all about you and your story to make a film that’s unique to you. Once I understand your vision of the film and your overall day I will suggest what I think would match your dreams and make them a reality!
3. sign the contract and make it official
We sign the contract and we are ready to start! Each team of filmmakers will only take one wedding per weekend, so once you’re booked with us, that weekend is unavailable for that team for everyone else. We like to make sure you are treated like royalty and we are ready at a moment’s notice to make sure your day goes off without a hitch! We also help you out with your timeline or work directly with your planner to get the most out of your timeline for your wedding day.
4. we coach you through it all
We give you tips for stress relief leading up to the day and even give you a little coaching on what to expect for the wedding day. Unless you’re used to being in front of a camera, it can feel a little stressful at first, but don’t worry, we take that stress and kick it out the window and then it’s just about having fun and being yourself!
5. the big day!
We film the day while holding your hand and helping at every step. But we also know when to back off and become invisible so your day can be just that: your day. We will film until you no longer need us and we will then go out for tacos with our team and we’ll discuss how much fun we had.
6. the magic begins
We sit down to edit and meticulously craft the story of your film. We pick the best music that fits the emotional beats of your story, find the best segments of toasts, vows, small comments here and there, all the hushed whispers of happiness, the gasps at seeing each other for the first time, all those magical moments that only video can capture and help you relive. We edit, and reedit, and reedit more and more. This process takes about 12-16 weeks to finely tune and make perfect!
7. the final cut
When it’s all done and perfect, shined up and ready for you, we send you over a private, personal link to your film so you can watch it for the first time together. A few days after you’ve had the joy to revel in your film all to yourself we will post the film online for your friends and family to share and love with you.

1. how much of a deposit do you require?
To book your day, we require a deposit of 50% of the contract amount.
2. what are the "special features" in the package?
You will get your awesome edited film but you will also receive those other important moments of the day in their entirety. All the reception toasts, the first dances, the first look (if you have on), and the vows + ring exchange. So you can enjoy the energy and fun of your wedding film as well getting to relive those big moments in their entirety!
3. are you lgbtIA+ friendly?
ABSOLUTELY!!! Love is love and there is nothing in this universe that can and should stand in the way of two people in love, and I freaking love being able to capture that and craft something beautiful from that love!
4. How do your packages work?
Not every wedding day is the same, just like how not every couple is the same, so every package is completely unique. Your wedding day is your day and you designed to be for the two of you! This shouldn’t be restricted to times of filming or a specific time from of the edited film. Your film is just that, your film. Every film we create is crafted for our couple. Down to the smallest details. We craft the entire experience just for you.
5. do you film outside of illinois?
Absolutely!! We love to travel and do it often. Inquire about your date and location, and we can't wait to hear all about it!
6. how long do you keep the raw footage?
While we will keep the final film forever, we hold on to your raw footage for one year after the wedding. If you would like to purchase the raw footage we can absolutely make that available to you!
7. what are some add-ons you offer?
We offer many, many things to make your film that much more amazing! Some of which we don’t necessarily advertise. If you can dream it, we can make it happen!
8. What if we don’t want our film anywhere online, we just want to keep it personal to us?
We offer this as well. This is called “owning the copyright.” That means we can not use the footage for our own advertising or posting anywhere at all (facebook, instagram, website, printed materials). Inquire with us about how to go about this.
9. Can we create our own custom packages?
